Last night we met this couple who are also going to be on the Solstice, and they were just as imagined the Solstice passenger to be: older (60s), white, well-dressed, prim and proper. It is definitely not the same crowd as when I was last on the ship. As Deborah Cox would say, "things just ain't the same." But different does not necessarily mean bad. I just gotta roll, you know. Apparently the Allure Of The Seas is on the same port - maybe I will get to see her. It's beautiful and sunny here in Fort Lauderdale - sweet breeze, comfortable 80 degrees. I just hope this cold gets zapped as we leave shore - I am feeling a bit better but it's still there. Sickness be gone! Right now I am at the hotel lobby waiting for our shuttle to go to the port, and I am quickly getting excited...and I just can't hide it!
