FLL

Arrived safely here in Fort Lauderdale. It was one of the smoothest flights I have ever taken, and I was quite impressed by the pilot - such a seamless landing. Even the lady sitting next to us exclaimed, "I did not even feel it!" I know they have had problems lately, but I am still impressed by JetBlue. We are staying here at the Ramada Inn and it's not bad - clean and efficient. We just had dinner at this place called Rustic Inn - apparently a local favorite here. Seafood is their specialty and my family ordered this HUGE king crab that was enormous! Too bad I am allergic, or I would have dived in. But I did have the swordfish, and it was fresh and yummy, so I am still a happy boy. But we did have dinner Florida-style, though - which means that we ate at 6:00 pm or so! And just for a funny counter-point, when we were on our way to the hotel, we passed by the Walgreen's which I know is just behind the Boardwalk Bar where they have porn stars dancing every night. I wonder if Brent Everett was there? I should have said hi.
