December First

Time flies. It's already the First Of December, The First Day Of Hannukah, and it is also World AIDS Day. They say that people infected with HIV nowadays have it a little better, but it is still an epidemic, especially among the younger generation. It is so disheartening how a disease has just eroded a huge chunk of a community. I often wonder what the world would have been like if a lot of people who perished from this disease survived. I am saying a prayer for those people, as well as numerous friends I have lost. And it looks like the weather is mimicking the craziness - howling winds, rain, and as I was typing this, we lost electricity for a couple of seconds. But it won't stop the remembering...
