Pipo told me that I should watch the SHO series "Gigolos," and I am an obedient friend so I went to Showtime On Demand and saw the first two episodes. I don't know how I feel about it - on one hand it is a fascinating portrait of how male escorts work, but on the other, I just think it's so exploitative, and dirty. Oh my, am I getting puritanical with my old age? I just found out that my niece wanted to see "Thunder From Down Under" when they were here. I couldn't have taken them, of course, since men are not allowed there, but I could have done something to make sure they saw the show. I even heard that the dancers pose outside the theater inside Rio Casino before and after the show to take pictures with their fans. They would have gladly posed with my nieces. Where did I find out about this, of course? Facebook. Some of their friends wrote on their wall saying how come they never took pictures with the hunks. Yet another case of missed opportunity.
