Sometimes you just need love to make you feel better. Maybe I was still in a Cinco De Mayo mood, because I popped the Blu-Ray of "From Prada To Nada" this evening. I could have sworn this was a chick lit book but I searched tonight on Google and it doesn't seem so. But whatever. I thought the movie was going to be trash, but I found it to be more than entertaining. It was touching. I mean, it won't win any awards, and I don't even know if it is worth a $13.00 movie ticket. But as a rental, or on Netflix like I did, it is well worth someone's time. I wish the acting of the main actresses were better (I can't be bothered to double check their names) but the screenplay, though by-the-numbers, has enough punch and pathos. Shhhh...don't tell anyone but I think I might have almost shed a tear. Or maybe I am just vulnerable right now. Still, some things touch me, and this did.
