The LV Chapter, Introduced

A funny thing happened today at the brother's work. I was there - the new guy, of course - and apparently one of his nurses is this flamboyant gay guy. Upon seeing me, he said, "Oh ! is the...." and then he burst into laughter. Obviously, he has been "briefed" about me and this just confirmed whatever his suspicions or expectations were. He told me that I definitely looked like a New Yorker, whatever he means by that. I don't even know if he was trying to be ironic - he is of the parlor side of things, if you know what I mean. But as Pipo told me later on, at least now there will be someone I can kind of ask around if ever we want to know about the "untapped scene" over here. And that quoted term came straight from Pipo, since God knows I really am not too concerned about that scene. I am getting the hand of things now, and it is because I have no choice in the matter. It's all about moving forward from now on.  The next couple of days may be busier - we will be looking at different places, plus it will be busier at the office. Around the end of the month, apparently, it gets more hectic because the payroll for the nurses will have to be handled. I think the business is good for me.
