Flight Cancelled

I woke up this morning with my nose bleeding, and I knew it wasn't a good sign. Well, a couple of hours later I received an email from Continental saying my flight that leaves tomorrow morning has been cancelled. I presume it is because of the weather conditions in the Midwest - they are expecting a major snowstorm. So I set out trying to find out what would happen to my flight - will I be rescheduled, will be left out in the rain, will I be ok? After being on hold for eternity, I get an agent and just as we were discussing what flights are available, she told me to get off the website as someone else was in my account. Well, it turns out that someone in Continental has already booked me on a flight on Friday morning! Friday! That gives me a whole week here again. I have mixed emotions. I mean, I like that I am still here, but I am concerned about my dad. This whole thing is on my mind right now, and I don't know if I could *fully* enjoy my extension here. They say be careful what you wish for...
